Create your first listing

What you’ll learn

  • Add a property with photos, price and the key details
  • Choose whether it’s shared to your community
  • Share the listing link with prospects

A listing is the engine of your CommunitySync account. Publish one and it appears on your community's Featured Listings page, on your own website, and as a shareable link that tracks views back to your inbox — all branded to you.

Start a new listing

  1. Open Listings from the sidebar and click New Listing (or Generate Opportunity).
  2. Choose how to add the property: import from a Zillow link, import from MLS (if your community has MLS access), or enter it manually. Importing pulls the details and photos in for you — see Import a property from a Zillow link.

Fill in the property details

  1. Confirm the address, city, state, and ZIP.
  2. Enter the beds, baths, guest count, square footage, and list price.
  3. Add photos — drag in your own, or let a Zillow import bring them automatically.

Add a title and description

  1. Type a title (the property name or headline), or click the AI option to generate one.
  2. For the description, use the AI generator and pick how you want the property framed: long-term rental, mid-term rental, short-term rental, or primary residence. Each gives you tailored language.
  3. Edit the generated copy so it sounds like you.

Publish

  1. Click Publish Opportunity.
  2. Your listing goes live on the community's Featured Listings page, appears on your own website, and becomes a shareable link.
  3. That link is automatically saved under Communications → Shared Links so you can track it.

After publishing

Open the Your Listings tab to see leads per listing, edit or remove a listing, and — with one click — spin up a rental forecast report from the same property data.

Troubleshooting

"This property already exists"

CommunitySync blocks duplicate imports of the same property across your community, so you can't accidentally publish the same house twice. Search Your Listings — it's likely already there and you can edit it instead.

My photos didn't import from Zillow

Occasionally a source page blocks photo access. Add photos manually on the listing — everything else you entered stays put.
