# Configure your community's feature settings

*Features*

### What you’ll learn

- Turn platform features on and off
- Configure each feature’s settings
- Control what members can see

Which features your community *has* is set by the platform operator. But how each
feature *behaves* — the words on your public surfaces, who gets notified, what your
dashboard shows — is yours to configure, from the Features & Settings hub.

## Open Features & Settings

1. Go to the **Platform Console** (orange panel) → your community.
2. Open **Features & Settings**.
3. Each feature that has settings expands inline to reveal its options.

## What you can configure

1. **Opportunities** — the "why work with us" value-proposition block and the
lead-capture form copy (heading, intro, CTA) shown on every shared listing.
2. **Leads** — the email address that receives new-lead notifications.
3. **Education** — the copy on your education landing page.
4. **Member dashboard** — the card grid on the member home screen (managed under the
member-dashboard editor: reorder cards, edit copy and icons, tie cards to features).

## Feature on/off vs. settings

1. The **on/off toggle** for a feature (whether your community has it at all) is a
   platform-operator control — it's the commercial lever.
2. The **settings** under each feature (copy, recipients, dashboard) are editable by
Owners and Admins. Managers don't edit these.

## Troubleshooting

### I don't see a toggle to turn a feature on

That's expected — enabling or disabling a feature is done by the platform operator.
Ask them to add the feature; then its settings appear here for you to configure.

### My edited copy isn't showing to members

Save the settings panel, then reload the member surface. Public and embedded surfaces
read the community's saved config — a hard refresh clears any cached copy.
